The Villaitana Wellness Golf & Business Resort has two 18 hole
golf courses that have the unmistakable stamp from the Nicklaus
Design company.
Villaitana levante golf course: championship and par 72
This course, with its characteristic Nicklaus design, is an American
styled course with narrow fairways, exquisitely shaped greens and
is more than 6,612 metres in length with stunning views over the
Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Finestrat. This is our local
course and less than 10 minutes from Benidorm which shows in
the photo above.
Because the course is not located within any urban development
you can enjoy the golf in completely natural surroundings with
constant views of the sea and of the mountains.
Villaitana poniente golf course: executive and par 62. This course is
3,858 metres in length and is located on the hill side of a
Mediterranean pine forest with views over the sea and the
mountains. Its design provides a great golfing experience for all
types of players independent of their handicap.
Although shorter it is still exciting. It requires skill from short irons
and is demanding for a player with a low handicap, although all the
holes offer alternatives for medium and high handicapped players.
Villaitana Wellness Golf & Business Resort includes two 5* and 4*
hotels allowing you to enjoy your golf. The facilities at the Villaitana
Golf includes a Club House with terraces and views over the
sea, cafeteria, pro-shop, rooms and changing rooms as well as a
practise area with excellent golf school facilities, making it one of
the best golfing options on the Costa Blanca.
On the outskirts of Alicante City close to the
7km San Juan beach is a modern 18-hole
golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros
and opened in 1998. Incorporating lakes and
artificial rivers into the design has increased
the difficulty rating of the course which has a
par of 72, with six par 3's, six par 4's and six
par 5's. It is a gentle course to walk around
and its flatness increases the visibility; the
greens on all the holes can be easily seen.
Of particular note is the 9th hole where Seve
has taken license with an artificial lake,
designed in the shape of an S, it gently
curves around the green. Whilst on the 14th
hole, golfers can enjoy having to clear the
ball over a re-creation of Roman ruins.
Open all year (except Christmas) it has a
driving range with 70 bays, chipping area,
practice bunkers and putting range. Private
lessons are also available for adults and
children in English and Spanish
Alicante Golf
Las Rejas is a 9 hole Par 3 Golf Course
located in Benidorm. It is situated in Playa de
Poniente (Poniente Beach) and integrated  in
the urban district of the city. It is the perfect
golf course for someone being introduced to
this sport. The experienced players will also
be able to strengthen their skills around the
green.
The design of the course has been made to
offer the players a fun game, putting into
practice approximation swings in a priviliged
area surronded by Mediterranean pine.
Both beginner and expert players will enjoy
the course because of its strategically
positioned par 3 holes.

the landscape.
With its lush, rolling fairways, lakes and palm trees, the
Roda Golf Course is going to look glorious. But this beauty
is no accident. The course's stunning landscaping is the
result of careful planning and technical expertise.


Whether it's a tree, plant, bush or the grass under your feet,
you'll find the course's flora have been carefully chosen. We
have taken into account their appearance, capacity for
adaptation to the region's climate and water requirements,
as well as their general ability to integrate into the
landscape.

Seven hectares of land will be covered with shrubs and
plants, mainly native species from the Mediterranean area
such as rosemary, lavender and myrtle which are perfectly
suited to the climatic conditions. The grass on the greens
and fairways will be the varieties L93 and Seaside II of the
species Agrostis stolonifera, while the rest of the course
has been sown with the variety Bermuda princess-77 of
Cynodon Dactylon. We have also planted 1,550 trees and
570 palm trees, some of which have been brought from
countries as far afield as Israel and Argentina.

Las Rejas - Benidorm
The Bonalba golf course is located in
the Bonalba mountains overlooking the
Mediterranean in the municipal district
of Muchamel, Alicante. It is laid out with
a variety of trees, lakes and a large
number of bunkers and enormous
greens distributed over the course,
making it an interesting and attractive
challenge for players of all kinds.

Nestling in the foothills of the Sierra de
Bonalda overlooking the
Mediterranean Bonalba golf course
has some stunning scenery. You will
encounter a variety of trees, lakes and
bunkers strategically placed, and
together with the large fast greens, this
course is an attractive challenge for
players of all handicaps.

“El Plantío” is a golf course in perfect
harmony with the environment. A
unique area of spectacular nature
which invites you to stroll through it.

The careful reafforestation of plant
species gives the course an exotic
atmosphere and a special feeling,
which makes each hole different. It has
an area of 750.000 m2, with 45.000
native mature trees (palm-trees, olive-
trees and locust-trees) more than
500.000 m2 of grass and about 15.000
bushes and flowering plants.
Pioneering irrigation methods are
employed using residual water.

Alenda Golf Club, designed by Roland
Favrat was federated in 1997 and in
1999 it opened an 18-hole, par 72 golf
course, with 6,257 metres of fairways and
greens, situated in a hillside region gently
rolling with views of the sea. The first 9
holes are fun and easy, with wide lanes
lined with pine, carob and palm trees; in
contrast, the last 9 holes require greater
concentration, since this part of the
course technically more demanding,
where precision is more important than
distance. Holes 16 and 18 at Alenda Golf
will clearly define the result on your
scorecard.
ALENDA
The 18 hole Pitch & Putt de Sierra Cortina, is
within Mediterranean wooded vegetation with
many bunkers as well as great views over the
bay of Benidorm and is located below the
elevated Puig Campana mountain peaks
behind Benidorm.

The course is ideal for all golf enthusiasts.  
For those who are learning the  distances of
each hole this is an ideal course, and for the
experienced golfers it will help them improve
their short distance play.

This testing course is made up of 18 holes all
of which are par 3.

The whole course takes about 2 hours to play.
